About JVET
JVET is originally a team of volunteers who have voluntarily joined a Technical Cooperation Programme (TCP) of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) etc., which started in 2011. The core of the team consists of members who have been deeply involved in the training of secondary school students and teachers in the Asia-Pacific region. We are now expanding the scope of the human resources we train to include university and postgraduate students, as well as young professionals.
Japanese experts in the field of nuclear science and technology who agree with our aims and policies of this activity use this framework to cooperate with each other, and exchange and share educational tools, materials, know-how, and experiences each other. The framework of JVET helps to promote and to improve our own HRD activities of each member.
